Founded in 1981 by father and son team Mick and John Ward, E.J. Ward Motor Engineers has built a reputation as leading Triumph Stag specialists. With decades of experience and a fully equipped workshop, we offer a comprehensive range of services including general servicing, repairs, and full restorations. Our expertise covers everything from engine rebuilds to unleaded specifications, cylinder head reconditioning, gearbox overhauls, and replacement of engine ancillaries. We also offer MOT testing and routine maintenance. Our body shop handles all aspects of bodywork, including full restorations, accident repairs, MOT-related repairs, and resprays. We carry out suspension and brake overhauls, and stock a full range of polyurethane bushes for the Stag, along with performance upgrades such as uprated shocks. Interior restoration is another area of our expertise. We provide retrimming and upholstery services—such as seat recovering in vinyl or leather, carpet fitting, hood replacement, dashboard re-veneering, chrome plating, and more. While Triumph Stags are our specialty, our passion for classic cars extends far beyond. Thanks to our extensive experience and excellent facilities, we’re regularly entrusted with a wide variety of classic vehicles—and we welcome the challenge. In addition, we stock a large selection of Triumph parts and spares, and often have a range of classic cars available for sale.
